Andy Lim is married to Serene Lim, and both have served in the Salvation Army as officers (pastors) since 1984 at various appointments till January 2007. They have two children, Amanda 28 and Joshua 25.

As Majors, they have pastored three Salvation Army congregations together. Through out these years their work had been with children, youth & adults at various stages in their ministry. Serene was co-founder of the Salvation Army’s first child-care services back in the 80’s.

Andy’s passion has always been to raise and equip leaders getting his mandate from Ephesians 4:12, ‘… to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up…’

His passion is to train leaders in the church to better serve the Lord, he uses the CRM’s, ‘Focusing Leaders’ materials and the John Maxwell’s ‘Million Leaders Mandate’ and ISC’s International Sports Leader’s Training (ISLT) modules.

They also just led the Youth More Than Gold campaign that rallied many churches to serve and bless the nation as we hosted the inaugural Singapore Youth Olympics Games (SYOG) & to reach the pre-believers through sports related activities organized for 2010. www.ymtg.sg
